I am from Pennsylvania and have moved to Glasgow, Scotland to marry the love of my life and my best friend of 16 years. I left 3 jobs when I moved and not being able to work for an indefinite amount of time, due to Visa restrictions, was something that was very hard to wrap my head around. With suggestions from my husband and my friends I decided to begin my blog. I wanted to do this to help myself deal with the transition and also to inform as well as entertain people. I have chosen to use the blog to pass on information, recipes, day to day dealing with life in a new country and yes… my love story. I intend to pull no punches with what I am going to say and I hope that this blog will be as useful and enjoyable for me to write as it is for my readers. I encourage comments and suggestions from my readers. x heather

Hi Heather,
LOVE your blog. I read a lot of blogs for work, I work in documentaries so it is a great way for people like me to find interesting people. Yours is truly warm and touching to read.
The project I am currently working on is about people living with MS. I am working on making 4 short documentary films about the human side of what is like to live with MS for an international doctor’s conference later this year. One of the films is about someone diagnosed with CIS. I can imagine it is a difficult thing to go through and it might not be something that is easy to talk about to others. But I believe by talking about it and raising awareness about the experience of going through it, especially to doctors, could benefit and help others going through the same thing.
Please contact me on salma@minnowfilms.co.uk for more info. Do contact me sooner rather than later for info as we are fast approaching our deadline and I would love to speak to you before that.
We are doing things films for a company called Minnowfilms together with McCann Health.
Many thanks
Salma
